Managed Services are server support services that go beyond the standard technical support that every Online Solutions client receives. With managed servers, you receive the support of a dedicated Online Solutions account manager and support representative. Our experienced Server Administrators provide support and consultation on customized web hosting solutions and mission-critical applications. Services include, but are not limited to, server administration, security administration, firewall administration, data integrity and backup administration, database administration, load balancing, server clustering, advanced server monitoring, and general administrative expertise. You can take advantage of our services and alleviate the costly and time-consuming task of building network infrastructure and hiring IT associates.
Every dedicated server solution includes 24/7 monitoring of a single port and http, smtp and ftp services on the client's server. Monitoring of additional ports and or services is available. Our Network Operations Center scans servers on our network every 60 seconds to determine if the designated port and the services are accessible. When the designated port or services are not accessible our tech staff is immediately notified. You will be contacted in accordance with the terms of your contract. If the server is completely unreachable, we will reboot the system or act in accordance with your instructions.
